The Ridge Retreat Experience
The Ridge Retreat and Spa, nestled in the hills of North Cumbria, just a breath away from Hadrian’s Wall. Our spa came to life in 2023, born from the heartfelt vision of our dynamic mother-daughter duo, Lyndsey, and Abbie. Back in 2020, after visiting another spa and leaving with a sense of unease and vulnerability, we knew something had to change.
You see, we realised that Cumbria lacked a space where everyone – regardless of insecurities – could truly feel comfortable and at peace in a spa environment. The bustling atmosphere of a traditional spa can make it challenging to find solace and tranquillity.
And so, the dream of The Ridge Retreat was born. We offer a wide range of treatments, such as the acclaimed Dermalogica Advanced facials, acupuncture sessions, and luxurious beauty treatments like lash extensions. Each experience is carefully crafted to make our guests feel truly seen and cared for.
